W2 and W4 Information
Getting Your W-2
All W-2s will be mailed to employees from California by January 31.
The W-2 will be mailed to the address that is currently printed on your paycheck.
The last pay stub from the previous year includes all of the year-to-date wage information that is needed for income tax purposes.
Correcting Errors in your W-2
If you receive your W-2 and find an error, you should submit a copy of the W-2 along with a short explanation of the perceived problem to your Employee Relations Representative or to your payroll coordinator.
W2 Replacement Requests
If you don’t receive your W-2 by February 13th, you may request a replacement in one of the following three ways:
Email dataprocessing@volt.com and provide the following: W-2 year requested, Name, Social Security Number, and W-2 mailing address.
Request a W-2 Replacement Request form from your Employee Relations Representative.
Fill out a W-2 Replacement Request form at the Volt Campus Office. Note: if the mailing address on the W-2 Replacement Request form doesn't match the address listed on the most recently submitted W-4 card, you must complete a
W-4 Personnel Change Card in addition to the W-2 Replacement Request.
Processing a request for a replacement W-2 takes approximately five (5) working days plus time for mail delivery. Therefore, please allow at least a two-week processing and delivery time period after you turn in your completed W-2 Replacement Request From. Company policy will not allow us to fax a replacement W-2 to you.
W4 Changes
Changing your Address
If your address has changed or will change in the near future, you must complete a W-4 Personnel Change Card. New W4 forms can be obtained at the Volt Campus Office or from your Employee Relations Representative.
Volt also recommends that you make arrangements with the post office to have your mail forwarded to your new address.
Changing your Withholding
To change your withholding on your W4, you will need to fill out a new W4 and turn it into the Volt Campus Office or your Employee Relations Representative. Information doesn't change more than once a year.
