Notice Regarding Timekeeping
As an hourly employee, you will be required to submit your time on a weekly basis. The following outlines the expectation for appropriate timekeeping:
All overtime must be approved by your manager prior to working the hours. We suggest that you get this approval in writing or in an email.
If you are requested to work and not record the time worked on your timesheet, contact your Volt representative immediately.
Hours should be tracked daily including start time, lunch breaks, and end time.
Report only actual hours worked on your timecard.
Your time should be submitted for manager approval at the end of your work week or no later than 9 AM on Monday.
Confirm manager approval by 5 PM on Monday. If you are unable to get your time approved, please contact your Volt representative for assistance.
Hours submitted and approved after 5 PM on Tuesday will cause delays in the processing of your time.
Failure to follow the outlined requirements could result in disciplinary action up to and including the termination of your assignment.
