Volt Technical Education
Volt provides its employees on assignment with industry-leading technical education. Instructor-led courses are taught in a dedicated training lab, and on clients' sites with Volt's Virtual Lab -- server-class laptops connected via wireless technology -- which gives Volt the ability to deliver technical training classes at all Volt client sites.
Volt's training department is headed by Dr. James McCaffrey and instructors are world-class experts in their fields, typically Microsoft Development Leads. Volt provides technical education across a broad range of subjects. Some of the current course topics include: C++ and C# Programming, SQL Programming, XML, ASP, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, Win 2K Server, and Certification Preparation.

Volt Employee Transition Training
During your break in service, you may still receive technical training through our Volt Employee Transition Training Program (VETT). VETT works closely with New Horizons, the world’s largest provider of Microsoft training. If you request training from your employee relations representative, you will be contacted by a VETT program administrator to explore training options, complete a technical skills appraisal, and develop an optimal training program to further your career objectives.
