Microsoft Library offers a wealth of information resources, freely available to contractors and vendors.  Besides the physical locations at Redmond’s main campus and the Sammamish campus, there is also the rich web site (http://MSLibrary), from which materials may be located, checked out and sent directly to your building.  The Microsoft Library covers the latest topics on technology, industry news, market research, and career development, with a variety of media, including hardcopy, CD’s, and on-line content.  The library’s wide selection of audio books are a great way to turn a long commute into a daily learning session.

Microsoft Library Policy

While on assignment at Microsoft you will be able to check out materials from the Microsoft on-campus library.

Take advantage of this great resource! Go to the MSLibrary on the Microsoft Web and browse the books available to you. You can request a book online and it will be sent to your building. You can also visit the library in building 92 and browse in person.

The MS Library doesn’t have traditional due dates, but when someone else requests the materials you have checked out, you’ll get an email asking you to return them. Be sure to return all materials to Microsoft when requested or at the end of your assignment. You are solely responsible for any loss, theft or damage to any Microsoft library materials. You will be responsible for reimbursing Volt the replacement cost of the materials in the event of any loss, theft or damage to the materials while in your possession, which includes working and non-working hours.
